My Favorite Internet Family
John Gruber is the writer of Daring Fireball, which has a gazillion readers, and deservedly so. What not as many people know, (only a few thousand), is how amazing he and his wife’s twitters are. (twitter.com/amyjane and twitter.com/gruber) They often twitter (or tweet) about their family, which is comprised of gruber, the wife and their young son Jonas, who Gruber often calls ‘the boy.’ The anecdotes are hilarious, and by far my favorite part of twitter. i recommend you subscribe to their rss feeds, even if you dont twitter, just for these moments. A recent but recurring theme involves gruber falling down the stairs at their home and yelling “Jiminy!” A recent twitter from gruber explains that ” The boy set a trap for me on the stairs, hoping I would trip and fall, because “it was so funny the last time”. Jiminy.”

EDIT: right after this, i switch to google reader and read:
gruber: Everyone thinks I’m the bad influence, but Amy’s the one who told the boy the name of the show is “Holy Crap It’s Easter, Charlie Brown”.
